Weathermancy, its a form of magic that i made up thats specifically for pegasai. I cant remember if i've already explained it, but if i havent i'll explain now. Weathermancy is a higher form of weather control. Its a mixture of unicorn and pegasus magic thats used to control all forms of weather according to the will of the user. Tornados, hurricanes, moving clouds without having to actually manipulate them. But there's a draw back, whatever the user does consumes a certain amount of energy the bigger the more energy used. If the user creates a giant hurricane in mid flight they're most likely to fall to the ground dead when creating said storm consumed all they're energy. And its not a simple skill, it takes many many MANY years to truly master most pegasai are well into they're old age when they learn how to control it perfectly. And the stronger user is the bigger acts they can do with less energy, but since unicorn magic isn't pegasus magic the user suffers the side effects including migranes, dizzyness, drowsyness, and possibily death if the user over steps they're boundries. These side effects can be avoided if the user is in possession of magic enhancing items, the best ones are a set of 12 diffrent bracers like this >>> [link] , these bracers stop the symptoms on the most part and greatly amplify the users power, and are all in the possession of MoonFeather whos father Aerial Ace taught her weathermancy. These bracers used to belong to a group of powerful weathermancers branded as simply the Heretics who's ancestors tried to take over Equestria, including Moon's. But her family avoided losing they're family name after realizing his mistake and helping stop them in the past but lost they're position as nobles. In the future about 500 years, they're descendents tried to take over again but where all killed by Adomia the Assassin. Because MoonFeather is the only weathermancer who isn't almost dead or a traitor, she gained possession of all of them already including the ones passed down in her family.

Your probably wondering how all of this block of text + link has to do with the cloudy looking pony up there, well after mastering Weathermancy, or experiances a huge emotional shock the user can transform themselves into the wind and literally become part of whatever weather phenomina they create and can live on in the winds. But if they stay in this form for too long they're stuck like that unless your in possession of said magic enhancing items.

MoonFeather can use weathermancy so well enough to be able to take this form so young is because she spent nearly all her life so far just training under her father who was one of few pegasai who can naturally use it from birth, and just practicing by herself. Since she's nocturnal, and is the captain of the night weather team she has a lot of time to just practice and train almost in seclusion enough to hone her skills to the level of a much older weathermancer.
